About the role
- Enhance product performance by analyzing cost and schedule metrics, with a focus on earned value and variance analyses
- Ensure effective use of the Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) for DFAR programs
- Responsible for the implementation & execution of EVMS policies and practices
- In coordination with the Director of Surveillance, support internal and external surveillance, audits and reviews
- Develop, implement, train, and maintain EVMS processes and tools
- Support the organization's EVMS talent development, performance management, and business strategy
- Support programs in operational decisions and provide advice on enhancing portfolio/project performance
- Align and integrate material management and manufacturing practices with scheduling and EVMS best practices
- Utilize expert domain knowledge to develop advanced concepts, techniques, solutions and standards
- Support Earned Value Management Team by providing understanding of EVMS deliverable content, issue identification/resolution
- Regularly interact with senior executive leadership regarding strategic matters
- Interface significantly with Program Managers, Contracts and Senior Technical Personnel
- Hybrid role requiring some onsite work at one of the listed locations; travel up to 25% domestically may be required
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
- 5+ years of experience applying DFARS requirements
- 5+ years of work experience with Microsoft Excel using formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets
- Able and willing to travel up to 25% domestically
- Working knowledge of EVMS Standards (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience working with ANSI/EIA-748 (preferred)
- Understanding of CDRLs and experience compiling compliance metrics to support DCMA audits and Corrective Action Request (CAR) closures (preferred)
- Currently have a Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferred)
- Must meet export control compliance requirements; must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
