💰 $114,750 - $155,250 per year
About the role
- Provide engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas, including internal and external resources and customers
- Develop statements of work (SOW) to satisfy research and development, ongoing and new business requirements
- Respond to changes to SOW, assess impacts and negotiate proposed changes to determine modifications to deliverables, resources, costs and schedules
- Communicate with domestic and international customers on engineering support and technical meetings
- Lead project execution, identify and track performance metrics
- Plan, identify, and coordinate resources required over the life of the project or program
- Define plans for risk mitigation and opportunity and compare actual results to baseline plans to assess performance and lessons learned
- Provide technical, business and integration leadership for development and execution of project or team plans
- Work under minimal direction; expected to be 100% onsite at Berkeley, MO
- May require travel up to 10% domestically depending on business needs
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science (or equivalent)
- 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
- 5+ years of experience working with and/or coordinating across engineering disciplines
- 5+ years of experience leading a team or a project
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
- Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
- Familiarity and experience working with requirements from MIL-STD-1530 (preferred)
- Active U.S. Secret Clearance or ability to obtain U.S. Secret Clearance (preferred)
- Experience on military based Aircraft Structural Integrity Programs or industry equivalent (preferred)
- Experience with Individual Aircraft Tracking Program (IATP) (preferred)
- Experience with Structural Risk Analysis (preferred)
- 5+ years of fixed wing structural engineering experience (preferred)
- 3+ years of Earned Value Management (EVM) experience (preferred)
- 1+ year Control Account Manager (CAM) experience (preferred)
- Experience reviewing and/or writing Statement of Work (SOW) from defense contracts (preferred)
- Domestic and international customer communication and coordination experience (preferred)
- Willingness/ability to travel domestically up to 10% depending on business needs
