About the role
- Manage commercial customer accounts in support of Commercial Modification Services sales campaigns across all regions
- Drive revenue and share of wallet growth while building and improving customer relationships
- Develop strategy and tactics using in-depth knowledge of customer needs, Boeing products and services and competitive environment to foster business growth
- Lead negotiations and finalize commitments by interfacing directly with customer decision-makers and influencers
- Coordinate and integrate with internal and external stakeholders to develop customer solutions
- Initiate and advance customer relationships to be accepted as a trusted business partner
- Lead the approval process by advocating customer requirements and selling the business case to management
- Balance enterprise, business unit and customer goals to meet and drive Long Range Business Plan (LRBP)
- Leverage company resources to support customer commitments and gain competitive advantage
- Research, review and analyze competitors' products and services to improve competitive position
- Provide guidance to junior employees regarding capturing and documenting customer knowledge
- Establish, maintain and expand network to address customer needs and proactively address future needs
- Identify future business opportunities and promote the value of Boeing portfolio
- Take consultative approach to help customers achieve objectives
- Challenge recommended scope and cost to ensure compliance and competitiveness
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with customer engagement in sales or in support of sales to major carriers, leasing and/or service providers
- Extensive technical knowledge of BGS Modifications Services Portfolio, customer operations, and deal structuring
- 10+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
- Experience in developing and maintaining customer relationships (both External & Internal)
- Strong Business and Financial acumen, written and verbal communications skills
- Travel up to 50%
- Master's degree in Technical or Business field (preferred)
- Understanding of internal Boeing processes (preferred)
