About the role
- Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.
- Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions and prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.
- Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management.
- Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
- Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.
- Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance (Senior Level).
- Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions and interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions (Senior Level).
- Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues and leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions (Senior Level).
- Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies.
- Expected to work onsite at Everett, Washington; position supports KC-46 Supply Chain team.
Requirements
- More than 3 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management.
- More than 3 years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts.
- More than 3 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.
- More than 3 years of experience and/or training with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA).
- More than 3 years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer.
- More than 3 years of experience working on U.S. Department of Defense contracts.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Typical Education/Experience: Level 3 typically 6+ years; Level 4 typically 10+ years related work experience or relevant military experience.
- Export Control Requirement: Must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
