About the role

  • Manage all contract change activity across a complex UK MoD digital services and support contract
  • Lead and participate in moderate complexity proposal development, negotiation, and execution of contractual agreements, including changes and amendments
  • Prepare, negotiate, execute, interpret and administer legally binding contractual agreements within signature authority
  • Summarise contractual issues, develop creative risk-aware solutions and coordinate contractual risk mitigation
  • Implement and maintain effective commercial governance to protect company interest and ensure compliance with policies, laws and regulations
  • Support supplier and intercompany flow-down, negotiation and mobilisation
  • Support, manage and/or govern the discharging of contractual obligations and administer contracts per requirements
  • Lead or support development and review of Statements of Work and commercial artefacts
  • Collaborate across functional areas (programme, finance, legal) to deliver commercial solutions aligned with strategic goals
  • Build and maintain effective customer and stakeholder relationships and represent the company in external engagements
  • Proactively anticipate, interpret and mitigate commercial risks and present recommendations to influence decision-making

Requirements

  • WCC (formerly IACCM) qualification and/or experience in associated role(s)
  • Experience of working 5+ years within multinational global company environment (desirable)
  • Experience working with the UK MoD (desirable)
  • Demonstrated technical experience in Contract Formation, Contract Management Systems, Contract Structure Knowledge, Negotiation, Estimating Methods, Proposal Processes, Risk & Opportunity Management, Business Case Development
  • Understanding and application of applicable legislation, regulation and standards (including Single Source Contract Regulations)
  • Ability to obtain United Kingdom Security Check (UK security clearance) and UK residency required
  • Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status; must have current legal authorization to work in the United Kingdom
  • Strong analytical skills and business financial acumen
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills
  • Negotiation, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Experience working in a matrix organisation
  • Ability to handle a diverse, fast-paced, high workload and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience identifying and implementing improvement initiatives and proactive risk/opportunity management
  • Competence in drafting, reviewing, interpreting and administering terms and conditions and Statements of Work
