About the role
- 12-month fixed-term contract managing commercial and legal aspects of business operations
- Ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks by managing, negotiating, and drafting contracts
- Work with sales, operations, and finance to execute contracts, resolve disputes, and ensure smooth operations
- Internal: work within commercial governance policies, advise on pricing strategy, support strategic projects
- Client: lead commercial negotiations with new customers and draft bespoke contracts
- Suppliers: own or support supplier relationships including due diligence, management, and contract negotiations
Requirements
- 4+ years’ experience in contract negotiation and drafting
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification desirable
- Industry-specific qualification desirable (WCC or CIPS)
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of contractual business impact
- Able to work independently with initiative
- Risk mitigation skills and ability to find alternative solutions
- Adaptable, resilient, high integrity, professional judgment, critical thinking, strong communication skills
