About the role
- Manage a team of talented Strategy and Business Development professionals
- Identify, evaluate, recommend, and prioritize new business opportunities through organic and inorganic investments
- Define, develop, and deploy new products and services, and enhancements to existing products, to address customer needs
- Identify, validate, and implement appropriate business models to enable success of new or enhanced products and services
- Develop and lead collaboration with third parties where required to maximize value
- Apply project management best practices, tools, and structure to lead integrated teams including Finance, Supply Chain, Contracts, Sales, and Marketing
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams and executive leadership in a matrix organization
- Manage multiple high priority projects simultaneously and present to senior audiences including management and executive leadership
- Support business and team requirements; travel approximately 10%-25%
- Position expected to be 100% onsite at Seattle, WA
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher, with a minimum of 12 plus years of work experience
- 7+ years of experience in Strategy, Business Development, Corporate Development, Sales, or Supplier Management
- 5+ years of experience in Aerospace
- 3+ years of formal management experience
- Ability to travel to support business and team requirements (approximately 10%-25%)
- Must meet Export Control compliance requirements: be a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 (US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)

- Preferred: MBA highly desired
