About the role
- Report to Vice President of FP&A and Finance Operations
- Lead Corporate FP&A team to provide financial and operational insight
- Provide strategic leadership and guidance to Nuvei’s Finance Organization (structure, templates, processes, etc.)
- Own financial systems integration to drive efficiencies and improvements in existing models and processes
- Own the global reporting and P&L structure
- Drive integration of acquisitions into consolidated reporting and data warehouse
- Own the budget and forecast process for the global organization, including templates, timelines, and deliverables
- Gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts
- Responsible for Board of Director quarterly reporting and shareholder packet monthly reporting
- Mentor, develop, and coach a high performing team
- Optimize existing financial models and improve accuracy via AI and automation
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Experience leading FP&A in an organization that includes international operations with multiple entities and product lines.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field required
- MBA or CPA designation preferred
- 12+ years of accounting and or finance experience required
- Project Management or transformation experience preferred
- Good understanding of generally accepted accounting principles as well as company accounting policies, procedures and standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to analyze and solve problems using necessary techniques and tools
- Attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality
- Demonstrated ability to plan and work to ensure critical deadlines are met
- Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and accounting software
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, clients and public
- English (written and spoken) used 99% of the time; basic knowledge of French required for positions located within Quebec
