About the role

  • Report to Vice President of FP&A and Finance Operations
  • Lead Corporate FP&A team to provide financial and operational insight
  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to Nuvei’s Finance Organization (structure, templates, processes, etc.)
  • Own financial systems integration to drive efficiencies and improvements in existing models and processes
  • Own the global reporting and P&L structure
  • Drive integration of acquisitions into consolidated reporting and data warehouse
  • Own the budget and forecast process for the global organization, including templates, timelines, and deliverables
  • Gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts
  • Responsible for Board of Director quarterly reporting and shareholder packet monthly reporting
  • Mentor, develop, and coach a high performing team
  • Optimize existing financial models and improve accuracy via AI and automation
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Experience leading FP&A in an organization that includes international operations with multiple entities and product lines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field required
  • MBA or CPA designation preferred
  • 12+ years of accounting and or finance experience required
  • Project Management or transformation experience preferred
  • Good understanding of generally accepted accounting principles as well as company accounting policies, procedures and standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems using necessary techniques and tools
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and work to ensure critical deadlines are met
  • Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and accounting software
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, clients and public
  • English (written and spoken) used 99% of the time; basic knowledge of French required for positions located within Quebec
