About the role
- Overseeing and directing the financial control functions within the organization.
- Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive internal controls.
- Leading financial reporting processes.
- Working closely with executive leadership and the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Reviewing and approving journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial records and reports.
- Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures.
- Providing guidance and training to finance team members on financial control processes.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in related discipline or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and CPA designation is required.
- 11+ years of experience, of which at least 7 leading a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
