💰 $114,750 - $155,250 per year
About the role
- Lead team members supporting International Weapons contracting efforts and serve as focal leader for BDS SI&WS PES programs across international commercial customers
- Maintain coordination with country/customer-based contracts teams to ensure consistent positions with common customers
- Lead US-based team members who support Defense International Operating Entities in the UK, Australia and India (BDUK, BDA, BIDPL) across multiple platforms (E-7, P-8, AH-64, CH-47, C-17, etc.)
- Manage Inter-organizational Work Transactions (IWTs) between The Boeing Company and international entities and improve global team efficiency
- Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures, and set operational goals
- Acquire resources for projects, provide technical management of suppliers and lead process improvements
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manage, develop and motivate employees; provide leadership coordination with Program Management, Estimating and Pricing, Supplier Management, Supply Chain, Accounting, Financial Controls, Business Development
- Adhere to a flexible schedule to support multiple time zones and travel as needed
Requirements
- Willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed
- 3+ years of experience with Defense Contracts
- 3+ years of experience with Defense Finance
- Leadership experience (Team Lead or Major Project Focal)
- 1+ years of experience with International Acquisition
- 1+ years of experience with Commercial Contracting
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher (preferred)
- Experience leading geographically dispersed teams (preferred)
- Experience working across different time zones (preferred)
- Experience working with multiple platforms and multiple customers within an assignment (preferred)
- Experience working with Weapons Programs (preferred)
- Experience working with International Operating Entities (preferred)
- Adhere to a flexible schedule to support multiple time zones
- Must be able to travel domestically in the US and internationally as needed
- Export Control Requirement: Must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
