About the role

  • Lead Northwest Factory Services and Custodial teams supporting Boeing facilities in the region (Everett, Seattle, Renton, WA)
  • Manage employee activities within the facilities occupation including custodial cleaning services and facilities maintenance
  • Manage, coach, lead, develop and motivate employees
  • Develop and maintain a positive “Safety First” environment and ensure employee performance complies with all established safety processes and expectations
  • Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures, set operational goals and drive accountability within the team
  • Acquire resources for projects and processes, provide technical management of suppliers and lead process improvements
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners and employees
  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Participate in equipment make/buy decisions and in source selection while providing technical oversight of suppliers
  • Learn and lead Boeing problem solving (BPS) and lean efforts and lead with a Seek, Speak & Listen (SS&L) mindset

Requirements

  • Valid Washington State driver’s license
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, leading teams or projects to successful completion
  • 1+ years of experience in teaching, coaching, and developing others
  • Experience collaborating and working across teams
  • Bachelor's degree or higher (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in facilities operations or facilities management (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leaders (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience developing & implementing technical, operational or quality strategies (preferred)
  • 1+ year experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Software Systems (preferred)
  • Experience leading in a union environment (preferred)
  • Experience in strategic decision-making and continuous learning, with a proven ability to foster accountability within a team (preferred)
  • Must meet export control compliance requirements; a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required
