About the role
- Lead a development team as Product Owner on a signature management system project
- Develop and validate requirements for unique systems
- Support the greater Signature Integrity Team and work within an Integrated Product Team as the primary external and internal customer interface
- Create a vision for the software system and shape requirements to meet customer needs
- Participate in Model Based System Engineering modeling of use-cases, behaviors, and software requirements
- Direct multi-discipline trade studies and work with suppliers and customers (internal & external) to ensure compliance with technical requirements
- Make final decisions on user-based requirements and disseminate results and status to project stakeholders
- Document requirements and Statements of Work (SOWs) when needed
- May represent Boeing to Government customers and suppliers
- Manage multiple simultaneous projects and activities across various states of maturity
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited course of study
- Senior (Level 5) experience: Bachelor's + 14+ years related work experience, or Master’s + 9+ years, or PhD with related work experience
- Familiarity with Signature Rollup Processes, Signature Test Data Processing, Signature Data Visualization
- Solid understanding of ways to estimate system signatures, knowledge of tier level assessments, defect characterization, and calculation of impacts of defects
- Experience with current systems is a plus
- Experience with condition-based maintenance and maintenance processes beneficial
- Background in software development desired
- Ability to obtain Special Program Access
- Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance required pre-start (U.S. Citizenship required)
- Ability to represent the Boeing Company to Government Customers and/or suppliers
- Strong organization and documentation skills
- Ability to work onsite 100% at Berkeley, MO
- Drug testing compliance per company policy
