About the role
- Assist with activities across multiple functions to resolve emergent issues in support of specific operations.
- Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.
- Provides limited feedback on assessment results.
- Support the organization to implement strategies and plans.
- Works under general supervision.
- Implements routine manufacturing processes and assists with the development of new or revised processes.
- Guides routine production activities and resolves problems of limited scope.
- Reviews and approves standard technical documents.
- Guides others in complying with manpower requirements.
- Collects and interprets data; assists in translating data into actionable plan
- Reviews and validates corrective action plans
- Utilize Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel (or equivalent tools), with the ability to perform calculations and analyze data in Excel
- Create and manipulate macros and their controls
- Create database connections in Excel to pull data from business systems with SQL
- Ability to understand and track the needs of multiple programs.
- Understanding of theory of constraints and utilization of resources.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience working in a Manufacturing or Production environment
- 1+ year of experience working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment where compliance with policies and procedures are essential
- Experience using excellent verbal and written communication skills with leaders and colleagues in an operations environment.
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel (or equivalent tools), with the ability to perform calculations and analyze data in Excel
- Understand complex formulas (nested if loops, conditional counts/sums/avgs, hlooksup/vlookup/xlookup, array formulas, etc.)
- Create and manipulate macros and their controls
- Create database connections in Excel to pull data from business systems with SQL
- Ability to understand and track the needs of multiple programs.
- Understanding of theory of constraints and utilization of resources.
- Active US security clearance (preferred)
- Shift availability: Monday-Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm
- Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance (post-start requirement); U.S. Citizenship required
