About the role
- The Data Engineer I supports the execution of conversions, data hygiene, basic edits and custom data services by performing basic data manipulation, editing, and transformation tasks.
- Run and monitor recurring data update and ingestion jobs.
- Perform basic data editing, formatting, and normalization in SQL-based workflows.
- Support the transformation of raw or external data into usable internal formats.
- Assist in data validation, anomaly tracking, and issue escalation.
- Document standard workflows for future execution and training.
Requirements
- Foundational understanding of data formats and transformations.
- Ability to manipulate and edit structured datasets using SQL or spreadsheet tools.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and cleanliness.
