Salary
💰 $119,850 - $162,150 per year
About the role
- Work collaboratively with a multi-discipline team to decompose system requirements into functional and logical architectures and allocate logical architecture to physical implementation
- Capture system requirements traceability within the system architecture model
- Apply model-based system engineering (MBSE) methodology to develop system architectural views using Systems Modeling Language (SysML)
- Analyze MBSE models to derive system ConOps through use of mission threads and use case scenario analyses
- Utilize the system architecture model in support of systems engineering milestone reviews such as SRR, SDR, PDR, CDR
- Ensure that system models are compliant to a standard outlined by the Customer approved style guide and the internal systems architecture/MBSE development plan
- Review and translate Customer reference architecture model to internal architecture model
- Provide input to continuously improve MBSE training, processes, and tools
- Mentor systems engineers in MBSE processes and tools
- Foster strong customer relationships
