About the role

  • Support HFVC team to develop and integrate airplane models, simulations and hardware emulations using Unreal engine visualizations
  • Serve as Simulation Requirements Engineer responsible for Program-Intake, decomposition of Software Requirements, milestones and deliveries, and validation of Integration & Test
  • Hold discussions with Boeing programs to understand their requirements and needs
  • Work with senior engineers and architects to develop clear technical statements of work for engineers to execute
  • Track technical work of engineers in GitLab and report progress and help needed to leadership
  • Maintain an integrated schedule and identify Risks and Issues with mitigation plans
  • Coordinate with program(s) to ensure technical execution of product lines meets program needs
  • Coordinate across functional teams, focused on dependencies between groups

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain a U.S Secret Security Clearance
  • Post-Start 5+ years of experience in C/C++ programming
  • 3+ years of experience with technical project management
  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience using GitLab and/or Jira (preferred)
  • 5+ years interfacing with program customers (preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (preferred)
  • Proficient within at least one programming language, preferably C++ (preferred)
  • Experience delivering products to Customers/Stakeholders (preferred)
  • Experience decomposing requirements and generating statements of work (preferred)
  • Experience with Cloud technologies, such as AWS or Azure (preferred)
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical issues within the team and management (preferred)
  • U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 required to meet export control compliance
  • U.S. Citizenship required for U.S. Security Clearance
