About the role
- Manages a team responsible for preparing and maintaining tax and regulatory records, returns, and reports for internal and/or external clients.
- Assists clients with development of tax and other regulatory strategies and makes recommendations for compliance with regulations.
- Oversees work performed by the team and presents analysis and tax and other regulatory strategy recommendations to clients.
- Designs, implements and monitors metrics customized to respective clients.
- Manages processes for conducting calculations and reporting on behalf of clients.
- Assists clients in addressing tax and/or regulatory questions posed by their investors.
- Partners with Corporate Tax to monitor the regulatory landscape and recommends and implements resulting process changes.
- Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff; responsible for achievement of team goals, talent management and supervision of team members.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in a business discipline or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- 5-7 years of total work experience preferred.
- 0-1 years of management experience preferred.
- Experience in tax reporting and analysis preferred.
