About the role
- Perform in-depth industry research and maintain understanding of market environment, trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory developments.
- Generate leads from within existing client accounts and via prospecting.
- Engage client/prospect contacts (advisors/individuals or institutional leaders) and support their strategic vision.
- Work with experienced peers to position the firm’s solutions and value proposition.
- Assist in developing negotiation strategy and deal structuring (pricing, contract terms).
- Contribute analyses to support closing new prospects and establishing client arrangements.
- Ensure deals are compliant with regulations and coordinate with legal, compliance, marketing, and other firm-wide resources.
- Collaborate with related teams (RMs, AMs, CSD) and track/report business development, relationship management, and account management results.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of total work experience preferred.
- Financial Services experience with Securities Finance preferred.
- Prior experience in a related customer-facing role, Sales Support, Global Capital Markets or Product Management preferred.
- Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
- A good understanding of the relevant marketplace, competitive landscape and industry drivers in the relevant region preferred.
