About the role
- Provide day-to-day delivery of critical and specialized lending operations within the Commercial EMM Line of Business Operations team
- Oversight and monitoring of a newly established Non-Reporting Portfolio (NRP)
- Review borrower and collateral information including payment timeliness, depository activity, behavioral indicators, and third party due diligence
- Adhere to risk management principles and credit approval process
- Provide advice and guidance to assigned business/group on implementation of solutions
- Support execution of strategic initiatives and change management activities
- Communicate with internal business partners and external customers to respond to inquiries
- Integrate information from multiple sources to improve processes and reporting
- Monitor and track performance; identify and address issues and escalate when necessary
- Execute timely, accurate, and efficient service; resolve standard issues and refer non-routine issues
- Perform administrative tasks and manage documentation to ensure records are maintained
- Participate in planning, testing and implementation of continuous improvement projects
- Develop and maintain understanding of regulatory requirements and operational risks
- Support development of tools and delivery of training focused on business results
- Work mostly independently and exercise judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems
Requirements
- Typically between 3 - 5 years of relevant experience
- Post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge and experience using relevant systems and technology – In-depth
- Knowledge and understanding of the business unit’s key products and services, processes and controls – In-depth
- Knowledge of the risk and regulatory requirements of the business – In-depth
- Prioritization skills – Good
- PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) – In-depth
