- Facilitates growth through business development and management of key client relationships
- Acts as an escalation point for complex client issues and resolves conflicts

- Manages high-value client portfolios, driving cross-selling, retention, and profitability
- Implements cross-selling initiatives and transitions opportunities into revenue-generating sales
- Leads market coverage strategies to expand portfolios and identify opportunities
- Represents bank at industry forums and conferences and leverages market insights
- Engages senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align strategies and address client needs
- Delivers reports to bank leadership on team performance, client satisfaction, market trends, and strategic initiatives
- Provides strategic advisory on loan products, rates, terms, and collateral requirements
- Builds and maintains long-term relationships with high-value strategic clients
- Analyzes market trends, client industry developments, and competitive positioning to inform strategies
- Works closely with internal teams to define products, solutions and strategies
- Identifies share of wallet opportunities and leverages analysis tools to grow portfolio exceeding ROE thresholds
- Ensures adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and compliance policies
- Fosters a culture aligned to BMO purpose, values and strategy and role models BMO values and behaviours
- Attracts, retains, and develops top talent and improves team performance
- Operates at group/enterprise-wide level and serves as specialist resource to senior leaders
- Implements changes in response to shifting trends
Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in Commercial Banking Equipment Finance
- Extensive knowledge and experience in the Florida Market
- Experience with Direct Originators
- Experience with end-to-end deals, initiation to close
- Ability to manage existing client relations and further enhance relations
- Ability to assist Bankers with end-to-end deals
- Ability to analyze and further improve pricing and products
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting preferred
- Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience and industry knowledge
- Expert level of proficiency: Product Knowledge, Regulatory Compliance, Structuring Deals, Portfolio Management, Credit Risk Assessment, Customer Service, Stakeholder Management, Negotiation, Customer Relationship Building
