About the role
- Support day-to-day human resources operations across the organization
- Provide administrative support across BluMetric Group offices
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data in HRIS systems
- Support HR compliance activities and assist with audits, reporting, and policy administration
- Respond to routine employee inquiries and escalate complex matters
- Coordinate co-op hiring processes, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling
- Liaise and build relationships with post-secondary institutions and hiring managers
- Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations
- Maintain spreadsheets with a high level of accuracy
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in an HR administrative or HR coordinator role
- Strong Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams
- Experience using HRIS platforms, CRM systems, and time & attendance systems
- Experience supporting co-op or campus hiring programs
- Hands-on experience with benefits administration
- General knowledge of HR best practices and employment legislation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable means of transportation to our Nepean Ottawa office
- Bilingualism (French and English) is considered an asset
