About the role

  • Identify and research high-potential target accounts and key decision-makers across financial institutions, research firms, and asset management companies.
  • Drive outbound prospecting efforts through a mix of cold calls, personalized email outreach, LinkedIn engagement, and social selling strategies.
  • Proactively follow up on marketing-generated leads from webinars, events, and digital campaigns to convert interest into qualified opportunities.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to inbound leads and inquiries, ensuring a seamless prospect experience.
  • Qualify leads using the BANT framework (Budget, Authority, Need, and Timeline) to assess fit and readiness for engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives to route and hand off qualified opportunities, ensuring smooth transitions through the sales funnel.
  • Secure and schedule discovery calls and demos for the sales team.
  • Maintain detailed records of activities, touchpoints, and conversations in the CRM (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot).
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and Marketing to refine messaging and optimize outreach strategies.
  • Meet and exceed weekly/monthly KPIs including calls, emails, meetings booked, and opportunities created.
  • Continuously learn about BlueMatrix’s products, industry trends, and client challenges.
  • Participate in team trainings, sales meetings, and cross-functional projects to grow your skills.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or sales-related role (B2B SaaS or FinTech experience is a plus)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable with cold outreach and high-volume prospecting
  • Organized, self-motivated, and eager to learn
  • Experience using CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo)
  • Knowledge of financial services, capital markets, or research workflows is a bonus
