About the role
- Perform pro-active sales calls, meetings, and sales campaigns to promote Blue Owl product offerings to existing and new private wealth investors
- Raise and retain assets under management within a geographic territory by conducting proactive phone calls, and one-on-one and group appointments
- Develop and implement a business plan and sales strategy
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of market, advisor, and investor trends
- Work closely with and actively support efforts of other Market Team members
Requirements
- 10+ years of total experience
- Strong and demonstrated experience raising capital from Wirehouse Broker Dealers
- Product experience in alternatives
- Knowledge of regulatory environments across the US
- Ability to navigate these jurisdictions from a sales and regulatory perspective
- Ability to work with a dynamic (i.e. continually growing and evolving) product set
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Exceptional ability to manage time, priorities, and internal expectations
- Exceptional work ethic and a desire to succeed
- Ability to travel to clients frequently
