About the role
- Handle incoming phone calls and primary customer interface for inquiries.
- Inform and educate customers, serving as a member advocate.
- Research customer information to effectively respond to and resolve issues.
- Comply with State and Federal regulations and mandates.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Three years of experience in a complaint type customer service office setting (health insurance or related field preferred)
- Basic medical/dental terminology and contract interpretation is a plus
- Availability for 14 to 16 weeks of training
