About the role
- Lead feature development across Node.js, React, and PostgreSQL stack.
- Own projects end-to-end from schema design to backend APIs.
- Ship high-quality code across Node.js/Express backends and React frontends.
- Build dynamic, high-performance React components using hooks and modern tooling.
- Translate product ideas and customer feedback into scalable features.
- Collaborate directly with the US client team and integrate into their workflow.
- Ensure the platform remains fast, scalable, and reliable.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience building and deploying full-stack applications in production.
- Proven track record of shipping fast and delivering features end-to-end.
- Strong system design skills; experience architecting systems independently.
- Proficiency with Node.js and Express.
- Proficiency with React and building dynamic, high-performance components using hooks.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and schema design.
- Experience designing and building backend APIs and RESTful services.
- Fully fluent in English.
- Must currently live in New York City (applications from outside will not be considered).
- Experience with Next.js, TypeScript, GraphQL (nice to have).
- Startup or high-growth environment experience (a plus).
