About the role

  • Responsible for providing high-quality technical support and service to medical imaging customers.
  • Install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain medical imaging equipment to meet OEM specifications.
  • Diagnose and resolve electronic, mechanical, and network-related issues independently in the field.
  • Evaluate, install, and perform preventive maintenance on imaging equipment.
  • Ensure systems operate effectively to meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Represent the company professionally in all on-site interactions and communicate customer feedback to internal teams.
  • Provide regular project updates, feedback, and insights to management, including the Zone Service Director.
  • Document newly developed processes and provide training to end users.
  • Remain available to address technical issues and respond to inquiries promptly.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and organizational goals.
  • Travel up to 50% and operate fleet or rental vehicles when required, complying with DOT and company safety requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • 3-7 years’ experience in medical imaging engineering or equivalent (minimum 3 years).
  • 2+ Years GE & OEC XR; GE or Toshiba CT a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and maintain focus.
  • Mechanical aptitude and desire to solve problems using initiative and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work on concurrent projects and ensure timelines are met.
  • Capable of building positive working relationships with team members, customers and vendors.
  • Ability to be flexible and resolve situations with confidence and mature leadership.
  • Solution-oriented professional who treats others with dignity and respect.
  • Experience in delivering and demanding a high level of customer service.
  • Thorough knowledge of safety regulations.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including active listening, clear verbal expression, and effective writing.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, keyboarding, and internet research.
  • Computer diagnostic software and hardware experience.
  • Database entry and management skills.
  • Collaborative team player who promotes open communication and shared success.
  • Self-starter who can fill "down time" in productive ways.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of safe driving history; must submit to and successfully complete MVR, criminal background check and drug screen.
  • Must submit to and pass a medical exam required under Department of Transportation (DOT) Regulations and a written examination if asked to operate rental trucks or fleet vehicles.
  • Drivers must comply with on-the-job driver’s safety training if asked to operate rental trucks or fleet vehicles.
  • Must be 21 or older to drive company vehicle.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50 percent.
