About the role
- Lead global mobility function and manage a small team responsible for visas and work authorisations for employees, freelancers and esports players.
- Oversee travel department responsible for booking flights to all events worldwide and line manage internal Travel team.
- Develop and improve comprehensive global mobility strategy aligning with large-scale esports tournaments.
- Oversee end-to-end process for securing visas, work permits, and other right-to-work documentation; act as escalation point for complex visa/immigration issues.
- Partner with People & Culture, Legal, and Ecosystem teams; maintain relationships with external immigration providers and government bodies.
- Advise senior leadership on mobility risks; forecast and manage budgets related to global mobility and travel; identify cost savings opportunities.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of experience in global mobility or travel, preferably in the sports, entertainment, or events industry.
- Strong knowledge of the international landscape of visas and travel
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee complex global operations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build relationships across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage high-pressure situations and solve problems effectively.
- Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and cost control.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours when required. Occasionally this role may be required travel to our Copenhagen office or internationally for particularly complex events.
