About the role
- Supports functional strategies as an Engineering & Development Services (EDS) contact for the Distribution area
- Provides high level monitoring of engineering design execution
- Collaborates with Distribution business leadership on alignment of opportunities with engineering design skills, capabilities and capacity
- Supports the EDS Distribution Infrastructure Solution leader
- Responsible for the development of optimal and consistent engineering Solution execution processes and design approaches
- Develops typical/template engineering design deliverables for the Distribution area
- Drives development of training and onboarding materials for Distribution professionals
- Accountable for driving collaboration across Solutions, Regions, and other internal Ops/EDS stakeholders
- Responsible for Engineering Management hiring, growth and associated resource management strategies
- Provides the workforce management for the team
- Track new business proposals and staffing trends that will drive collaboration with EDS Discipline leaders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, HR-related, or other related technical discipline
- 7+ years’ proposal and client relationship experience in one of BV's markets
- Understands business on a global scale and that different approaches work in different places
- Proposal knowledge
- Market Sector specific industry knowledge
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Champion of innovation
- 7+ years of management experience in areas such as engineering, environmental, land services, project management and/or operations management.
