About the role

  • Responsible for the development and execution of HR plans to support leadership in achievement of business objectives
  • Lead all HR related activities including development and execution of talent strategies
  • Partner with COE's for the implementation of HR programs
  • Act as coach to leaders to foster high-performing teams
  • Cultivate a partnering relationship with management and professionals
  • Engage productively in business discussions
  • Perform role as change agent for new HR programs
  • Advise management and professionals on personnel policies and procedures
  • Analyze and provide advice on employee work problems
  • Assure HR programs are carried out in accordance with company policies
  • Act as liaison between BV Operations and corporate functional areas
  • Identify and assess improvement opportunities for HR programs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 8+ years progressive HR experience in one or more functional areas
  • HR Certification
  • Broad basic knowledge of all functional areas in HR
  • Strong understanding of HR programs, policies and procedures
  • Strong understanding of employment law
  • Strong prioritization skills
  • Situational adaptability and ability to manage ambiguity
  • Basic financial acumen to understand key financial indicators and recognize profitability and revenue opportunities
  • Global perspective of common business practices and impact on business
  • Strong human relations skills, including ability to influence and negotiate
  • Good leadership ability
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent conflict management and human relations skills
  • Basic understanding of Human Resource Information Systems
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Strong management and supervisory skills
  • Must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States
