About the role
- Drive the process to acquire new clients and engagements and responsible for all aspects of assigned engagements
- Direct the development of processes and techniques to improve operations and develop marketable service offerings
- Provide input on the strategic plans for the organization
- Utilize capabilities exhibiting thought leadership
- Provides technical or industry knowledge to contribute to the completion of all engagement phases
- Demonstrates capabilities with minimal oversight
- Manage projects from prospect to client deliverable
- May lead a large size effort or project team
- Delegates team work assignments through various phases of an engagement
- Manages employees in engagements and provides input for performance management and compensation
Requirements
- Master's degree preferred
- Business development of 5+ years preferred
- Extensive knowledge in area of specialization(s)
- Advanced business development capability
- Accomplished project management skills
- Business and consulting management skills
- People management skills including recruiting, evaluation, and mentoring
- Advanced knowledge in all aspects of consulting processes
- Extensive client management and negotiation skills
- Advanced knowledge of the marketplace
- Advanced interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
- Has successfully managed multiple engagements simultaneously
- Contributor or leader to acquire new engagements
- 12-15+ years in a business/consulting environment
