About the role
- responsible for performing advanced level accounting duties of assigned projects
- revenue recognition, transactional accounting
- complex invoicing
- analysis, forecasting, budgeting and reporting
- trusted business advisor to management related to financial insight and performance
- resolution of complex and/or high-risk issues
- compliance with contractual obligations
- work under minimal supervision
Requirements
- Master's Business Administration (MBA) or MS in Accounting, preferred.
- Experience preferably four years in project accounting
- Federal Government Contracting experience a plus
- Technical Knowledge of FAR and CAS
- Knowledge of Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Intermediate Knowledge of Microsoft Access
- Basic Knowledge of Black & Veatch Systems
- Intermediate Knowledge of percent complete accounting
- Intermediate Technical accounting knowledge
- Intermediate Knowledge of Financial Statement analysis
- Intermediate Knowledge of foreign currency terminology and concepts
- Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years related experience
