About the role
- Functions in a project engineering technician capacity
- Supports engineering and design teams
- Develops and modifies technical deliverables
- Applies foundational engineering principles
- Utilizes digital tools and design software (e.g., CAD, BIM, 3D modeling)
- Provides technical guidance to other engineering professionals and technicians
- Reviews design inputs to ensure consistency
- Performs design calculations and detailed material quantities
Requirements
- Typically a minimum of 5 years related work experience
- Advanced Civil 3D experience
- Knowledge of proposed grading surfaces and plan development
- Diploma or Certificate preferred
- Associate Degree in Drafting or Engineering Design Related Technology preferred
