About the role
- Identify and engage new enterprise clients and partners leveraging existing networks and proactive outreach.
- Partner with the sales team to structure strategic deals and ensure seamless transitions during handoffs.
- Collaborate with marketing to execute targeted outbound campaigns.
- Participate in onboarding and sales training for new customers.
- Lead sales meetings representing BitPay, driving pipeline growth, and achieving key sales targets.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, forecasts, and communication in the CRM system.
- Gather market insights and customer feedback to inform our go-to-market and product strategies.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise partnerships or business development or strategic sales in the payments (Card, BNPL, Instant Payments, etc.) or crypto industries.
- Demonstrated success in initiating and sourcing new enterprise deals and partnerships.
- A strong enterprise and fintech network; Silicon Valley is a preferred location.
- Strong prospecting, influencing, and negotiation skills with a strategic approach to selling and closing deals.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and passionate about innovation and delivering results.
- Team-oriented with a focus on collective success.
- Executive presence and strong communication skills; confident engaging C-suite and senior stakeholders.
- Adaptable and confident working in a fast-paced, regulated, and constantly evolving industry.
- Must be based in California, ideally in Silicon Valley.
