• Monitor the BitMEX Trollbox, Telegram and other channels as required

Risk

• Bootstrap BitMEX's Security Assurance practice and architect Security Policy and Risk Management frameworks with compliance-as-code as a foundational pillar
• Operationalise security common controls framework and deliver security metrics
• Translate regulatory and compliance requirements into code and actionable technical controls
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks, processes, and internal control gaps with potential adverse operational risk implications
• Deliver threat modeling spot checks and perform deep-dive technical risk assessments
• Provide security training and outreach to internal tech teams
• Facilitate execution of external audits over BitMEX's products and internal controls in accordance with SOC 2 and ISO 27001
• Collaborate with stakeholders on successful execution of SOC2 Audits and other security initiatives

Product Designer

• This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing team to develop and manage the overall user experience for our hero product, the BitMEX trading platform.
• As a Product Designer, your first key task is to elevate the web experience for our traders. You'll need to work closely with product managers, engineers and the commercial teams to roll out new features and improve the customer experience. Also, you'll have the opportunity to expand your role as we increase our product offerings.
• Translate product requirements and user flows into user-friendly web interfaces.
• Develop high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and detailed UI specifications that clearly communicate design intent to non-designers.
• Champion the principles of web design, ensuring a seamless and optimized experience across a range of screen sizes and resolutions.
• Design and define intuitive and innovative gesture-based interactions to enhance usability and create a fluid user experience.
• Stay at the forefront of web UI trends, patterns, and technologies, and be a vocal advocate for their application within the BitMEX platform.
• Collaborate with the Product and Engineering team to iterate on and refine UI elements based on user feedback and performance data.
• Regularly present design solutions and prototypes to the broader Retail Product team and key stakeholders.

• Design, development, maintenance and support of fault-tolerant, containerised distributed systems of microservices, for the writing and reading of exchange data
• Provide services to both internal and external clients, such as new products, support tooling, analysis tooling. This is a rapidly moving environment with a varied and expanding product line
• Evaluation of new technologies
• Collaboration with peers, internal and external users on technical design and direction
• Act as a senior technical resource to junior engineers
• The team provides a flexible and performant API for clients to efficiently access this data
• The team also builds and maintains the firm’s Market Data infrastructure, including market data feed handlers, data capture and storage and analytics for various cryptocurrency exchanges, and also calculates the realtime index prices used to value client positions
