About the role

  • Graphic design & visual communication
  • Creation of digital content: design of online materials such as social media posts, banners, website visuals and newsletter graphics
  • Video editing & motion design: producing and editing video formats, animations and motion content for social media, internal communications and presentations; developing dynamic visual elements to strengthen brand communication
  • Print design: concept and design of print materials such as presentations, flyers, brochures and event collateral
  • Templates & graphic assets: development of templates for internal and external communications to ensure a consistent brand appearance
  • Brand development: further development of the visual identity and implementation of the Bitkern guidelines across all channels
  • Content management
  • Content planning & maintenance: planning, coordinating and maintaining content across all channels (website, blog, social media, etc.)
  • Editing & copy refinement: coordinating, revising and proofreading texts, campaigns, blog posts and multimedia content
  • Photo & video formats: conceptualizing and producing visual content such as explainer videos, social media reels, product showcases and event clips
  • Social media management
  • Strategy & planning: conceptualizing, planning and publishing social media posts on platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, X and Telegram
  • Creative development: creating and implementing innovative ideas to increase reach, brand awareness and community interaction
  • Performance & analysis: monitoring, evaluating and optimizing social media performance using relevant KPIs
  • Community management
  • Community engagement: actively interacting and communicating with our community across all relevant channels
  • Growth & maintenance: building, nurturing and continually expanding our online community through authentic, targeted communication
  • Dialogue management: responding to comments and messages in line with the Bitkern tone of voice and brand values
  • Event support: supporting the organization, preparation and on-site accompaniment of events, trade shows and community activities

Requirements

  • Degree or vocational training in marketing, communications, design or a comparable qualification
  • Experience with graphic and video software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite — especially Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator — as well as Canva, Figma, Premiere Pro, CapCut or comparable tools)
  • Confident use of social media platforms
  • Creative sensibility for design, language and digital trends
  • Initiative, team spirit and a structured way of working
  • Excellent German and English skills
