About the role
- Manage full-cycle sales efforts, building relationships with executive stakeholders and closing new business for Billtrust’s SaaS order-to-cash and payments solutions.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and drive growth within the Transportation vertical.
- Identify and prospect new clients through outreach, referrals, networking, and industry channels.
- Deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations that highlight the business impact of Billtrust’s solutions.
- Build and nurture relationships with VP and C-Level decision makers and key stakeholders.
- Partner with Pre-Sales, Marketing, Sales Development, and Sales Ops to manage leads and build strong deal flow.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Services, and Customer Success teams to ensure client needs are addressed.
- Track market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software sales experience (SaaS preferred), with a track record of exceeding quota.
- Experience selling into finance, payments, AR/AP, ERP, or FinTech solutions is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of or experience selling into the transportation vertical is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with deal sizes of $50k–$100k+ ARR.
- Strong knowledge of sales methodologies (MEDDICC, Challenger, Solution Selling, etc.) and ability to apply them in enterprise environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both in person and virtually.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect technology to customer outcomes.
- Highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
