About the role

  • Directly manage writers, editors, designers, and developers.
  • Conduct 1:1s, performance reviews, and professional development planning.
  • Provide ongoing coaching on craft, clarity, execution, and marketing alignment.
  • Ensure creative deliverables meet established standards for clarity, accuracy, SEO alignment, and strategic intent.
  • Oversee team capacity planning and resource allocation in partnership with the Project Manager.
  • Partner with SEO, PPC, Strategy, and Account teams to ensure alignment between marketing objectives and creative execution.
  • Manage department budget, including freelance spend and tools.
  • Pull and interpret performance data to assess content effectiveness and team productivity.

Requirements

  • Experience leading creative, content, or production teams.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, content marketing, and digital marketing fundamentals.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve operational efficiency and quality.
  • Experience managing workflows in Asana.
  • Budget and resource management experience.
  • Experience coaching and developing creative professionals.
