About the role
- Responsible for delivering on target performance through sourcing suitable waste materials.
- Work closely with the Area Transfer Station Manager to drive a growth strategy aligned with business needs.
- Develop local strategies to plan growth through volume acquisition.
- Complete bid and tender processes.
- Deliver campaigns to maximise revenue and productivity.
- Secure new business for our transfer stations.
- Manage a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring service requirements and volume targets are met.
- Produce regular activity and pipeline reporting to provide visibility of current and forecast activity.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a B2B sales environment.
- Excellent knowledge and experience in commercial tonnage sales.
- Profitability analysis skills.
- Understanding of Waste Management / Transfer Stations and processing.
- Exceptional commercial awareness.
- Strong industry network.
- CoTC preferable but not essential.
