About the role
- Support the Senior Accountants with analysis, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Monitor daily cash balances and reconcile bank accounts
- Investigate and resolve cash-related discrepancies
- Prepare and post journal entries for accruals and reclassifications
- Perform general ledger tasks as needed to support month-end close processes
- Perform variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations
- Prepare the Balance sheet reconciliation of assigned accounts and prepare Roll forwards as needed
- Complete ad hoc data and reporting projects as directed by the Accounting Manager
- Identify process improvements to streamline accounting workflows
- Ensure accurate reflection of T&E spend in the general ledger and assist with daily operations of the Accounts Payable team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field of study
- Basic knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and internal control procedures
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Ability to deliver a first-class internal customer service experience
- Adaptability
- Motivation to voraciously learn and sharpen skill set
- Willingness to take a detailed and analytical approach to all job functions
- Dedication to consistently meeting deadlines
- Microsoft Excel skills
- (Nice to have) Experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP
- (Nice to have) Comfort level or experience in a technology-driven environment
