About the role
- Researching, qualifying, and generating leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.
- Contacting potential clients in both the US and Canada through prospecting outbound channels to set up meetings or calls between prospective clients and sales execs.
- Presenting our company to potential clients, identifying client needs and suggesting appropriate solutions that improves our win rate.
- Contributing to the development of an effective sales process to further the results from this system.
- Developing “out of the box” sales strategies and sharing learnings across the team.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Maintain meticulous records of client interactions and sales activities utilizing CRM software.
- Develop meaningful relationships, rapport, and trust with our potential clients.
- Meeting personal and team monthly sales targets, and reporting and providing feedback on progress back to the team.
Requirements
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of customer service or sales experience in technology, EdTech, and/or software companies.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
- Familiarity with CRM software, and maintaining detailed records.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to convey yourself and the product clearly through verbal and written methods.
- Organized and with a heightened sense of detail while operating in a fast-paced environment.
- You have an energetic and entrepreneurial spirit.
- You're an avid listener with a swift ability to solve issues.
