About the role
- Lead government-facing sales efforts that expand BETA’s aircraft charging footprint across federal, state, municipal, and military customers.
- Interface with agencies, policymakers, appropriators, procurement officers, and airport authorities to advance the adoption of electric aviation infrastructure.
- Partner closely with Charge and Aircraft Sales, Government Relations, Product, Engineering, and Business Development teams to pursue opportunities, respond to RFPs, shape government program requirements, and support the development of policy-aligned growth strategies.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in government sales, public-sector business development, legislative policy, or government contracting.
- Understanding of the federal legislative process, appropriations cycles, and government procurement pathways.
- Proficiency with Salesforce (data management, reporting, dashboards, and opportunity tracking).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting government proposals or RFP responses.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts and support technical selling.
- Comfort engaging with government customers and collaborating across cross-functional internal teams.
- Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
