About the role
- Develop and implement compliance programs for supply chain operations
- Conduct regular audits of supply chain processes to ensure regulatory compliance (FAA, SEC, ITAR, Export Control, other) and compliance to internal policies
- Ensure contract templates and contracts to be executed include required and appropriate compliance focused terms and flow downs
- Develop company programs for Conflict Mineral, Rohs/REACH, Prop 65 reporting and compliance
- Monitor and interpret changes in relevant regulations and industry standards
- Create and maintain compliance documentation and reporting systems
- Investigate and resolve compliance-related issues
- Develop training programs to educate staff on compliance requirements
- Collaborate with legal, contracts, procurement, sustainability and new product introduction teams
- Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies
- Conduct supplier compliance evaluations and assessments
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in supply chain compliance
- Experience working in aerospace/defense or other highly regulated industries
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, Business Administration, or related fields of study
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience working in a highly dynamic environment – ability to embrace changing priorities and responsibilities
- Strong ability to perform both as a part of a team and to perform as an individual
- Desire to change the world of aviation forever
