About the role
- Overlay organizational goals into operational plans, timelines, and tracking frameworks to support effective execution.
- Identify celebrity/entertainment trends, opportunities, and gaps through research and performance analysis.
- Maintain and regularly update all constituent data in internal databases by collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data related to events, campaigns, and partnerships.
- Produce clear, compelling, and accurate reports and project plans that communicate impact, ROI, and KPI learnings to internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Support continuous improvement of surfacing insights and recommendations based on data and results.
- Support the end-to end execution of celebrity and entertainment initiatives by managing workflows, timelines, approvals, and documentation and ensuring that all events comply with relevant regulations and legal requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution and garner input from all channels.
- Serve as an operational liaison, ensuring clear communication and follow-through across departments.
- Draft marketing plans and documents with basic info for celeb team and relevant channels and serve as marketing liaison.
- Monitor social accounts and capture specific celeb posts for during/after internal events.
- Prepare background materials, briefings, and summaries to support decision making and relationship management efforts.
- Submit necessary creative requests for celebrity and entertainment activations, making sure that branding, copy, and messaging is consistent.
- Provide administrative and logistical support as needed, including booking travel for celebrity appearances, coordinating swag for outreach, creating personal touch moments with key supporters and supporting event logistics.
- Travel up to 15%.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 6+ years of experience in entertainment relations, partnerships, marketing, operations, analytics, or a related support function within the entertainment or nonprofit sectors.
- Possess a passionate and ongoing interest in and familiarity with the entertainment industry including knowledge of the different studios, networks, PR firms, management companies, talent agencies, etc.
- Solid understanding of marketing partnerships and talent engagement with a results-driven mindset.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable summaries.
- Deep understanding of project management tools.
- Experience supporting marketing partnerships, talent engagement, with an emphasis on operations, analytics, and strategy support.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven, with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.
- Experience using Airtable, Excel, HERO, talent representation databases, and Asana are preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products; the ability to learn new systems, including online information systems.
- Experience using data to create narratives or develop strategy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a collaborative spirit and the capacity to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
