About the role
- Assist in delivering consulting services to State Medicaid Agencies under the supervision of experienced consultants
- Support projects within the Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES), Medicaid Program and Policy, and/or Organizational Excellence Practices
- Conduct research, perform data analysis, and contribute to the development of internal and client-facing deliverables
- Assist with documentation, reporting, and technical aspects of engagements
- Track project progress, maintain document repositories, and support quality assurance reviews
- Perform administrative tasks to support project and practice operations
- Participate in internal initiatives, including business development and knowledge-sharing activities
- Pursue professional development through continuing education and certification opportunities
Requirements
- A BA/BS/MS degree in Political Science, Public Health, Economics, Management Information Systems, Health Care Management, Business, or a related field
- Experience in a professional work setting (internships, volunteer roles, or entry-level positions)
- Understanding of general technology concepts and interest in Health and Human Services (HHS) technology
- Strong written and analytical communication skills
- Effective time management and organizational skills to balance multiple assignments
- A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
