Work with client leadership, BerryDunn economists, and actuaries to determine analytical strategies to answer key policy questions
Research and master specific details relevant to projects of federal, state, and private health care programs, including review of statutes and regulations
Research a wide range of health care policy and clinical subject areas to understand care delivery and technology
Identify data sources for analyzing specific questions and work with technical programming staff to specify data analyses
Work with actuaries to translate policy analysis into cost measurement and interpret results as they address policy questions
Draft reports summarizing analyses with clear, precise writing
Requirements
Master’s degree in health policy, public health, or related subject areas
A minimum of five years of experience working in healthcare policy-related content areas
Strong understanding of both commercial health insurance and Medicaid
Strong, demonstrated track record of outstanding written output, documented with writing samples
Experience working with technical staff and coordinating development of reports and similar work products
