About the role

  • Reporting to the Regional VP Business Development, responsible for generating sales.
  • Building and strengthening new business relationships with potential prospects.
  • Understanding the advisor's book of business while uncovering opportunities.
  • Involved in developing sales strategies and marketing concepts.
  • Provide support to the Business Development Directors.
  • Combine proactive sales activities and value-added services through daily telephone contact.

Requirements

  • College degree in a related field is an asset.
  • 3 to 5 years of sales/marketing/call center experience in the financial services industry
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong active listening skills — an entrepreneurial approach is key to the role.
  • Successful completion of industry related courses such as CFP, CLU.
  • Must be willing to complete LLQP.
  • Solid knowledge of financial services industry overall.
  • Coachable and open to ongoing sales training.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English, French would be an asset.
