About the role
- Reporting to the Regional VP Business Development, responsible for generating sales.
- Building and strengthening new business relationships with potential prospects.
- Understanding the advisor's book of business while uncovering opportunities.
- Involved in developing sales strategies and marketing concepts.
- Provide support to the Business Development Directors.
- Combine proactive sales activities and value-added services through daily telephone contact.
Requirements
- College degree in a related field is an asset.
- 3 to 5 years of sales/marketing/call center experience in the financial services industry
- Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills.
- Strong active listening skills — an entrepreneurial approach is key to the role.
- Successful completion of industry related courses such as CFP, CLU.
- Must be willing to complete LLQP.
- Solid knowledge of financial services industry overall.
- Coachable and open to ongoing sales training.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English, French would be an asset.
