About the role

  • Foster and promote the development of partnerships with managers.
  • Provide advisory support in complex people-management situations and issues.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of problems and issues, assess impacts, consider various solutions, and make relevant and appropriate recommendations.
  • Advise and support managers in preparing for and implementing these recommendations across relevant areas.
  • Ensure consistent and coherent application of policies, programs, and processes.
  • Ensure correct application and interpretation of collective bargaining agreements.
  • Promote open communication among stakeholders.
  • Work with HR Centers of Expertise to contribute to development and support implementation.
  • Promote, communicate, and implement HR initiatives and the organizational culture.
  • Lead and/or participate in various special projects within the HR function.
  • Provide organizational support on a variety of matters and activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in human resources, including advisory roles and managing HR in compliance with collective agreements
  • Member of the Ordre des CRHA or in the process of obtaining the designation
  • Proficiency in French, both spoken and written, and intermediate proficiency in English, both spoken and written
  • Knowledge of the Workday HR system (asset) and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Solid understanding of business issues
  • Strong stress management, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Results-oriented with a strong customer-service focus
