About the role
- Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React and TypeScript
- Collaborate with UX Designers to implement responsive and accessible interfaces following WCAG
- Contribute to and maintain existing Angular-based systems as needed
- Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and services
- Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and trends
- Mentor others, collaborate across teams, and contribute to a culture of frontend excellence
- Work as part of a 3–5 developer team on benefits and employee engagement portals, admin tools, or end-user experiences
- Maintain current platform in Angular while developing new features in React, using agile ways of working
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with React and TypeScript
- Comfortable working with Angular (maintaining existing Angular-based systems)
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining modern web applications
- Ability to collaborate with UX Designers to implement responsive and accessible interfaces following WCAG
- Experience integrating APIs and services with backend engineers
- Problem-solving mindset and adaptability to changing tech stacks
- Experience working in agile teams
- Strong collaboration and mentoring skills
- Nice to have: Familiarity with design systems and component libraries
- Nice to have: Experience with Sass
