About the role

  • Lead front-end initiatives to deliver generative AI features for accounting professionals
  • Design, build, and maintain generative AI products such as Conversations, Accounting Research, Ready to Advise, and Workspaces
  • Develop user interfaces using Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS ensuring performance and responsiveness
  • Own complex, 6+ month projects end-to-end: ideation, cross-functional collaboration with product and UX, testing, launch, measurement, and iteration
  • Identify bottlenecks and optimize for speed, scalability, and responsiveness
  • Serve as product leader: make prioritization decisions, scope timelines, and guide product and backend engineers
  • Set and enforce team-wide frameworks, best practices, code quality, and testing
  • Collect feedback from end users and internal stakeholders and iterate on UI/UX

Requirements

  • 7+ years building web applications at scale
  • Experience building new products or features from 0 to 1 (ideation to release)
  • Proficiency with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
  • Strong passion for UI/UX and product design; refine details
  • Excellent debugging skills and performance optimization
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration; guide product and backend engineers
  • Experience owning complex 6+ month projects end-to-end
  • Experience with front-end testing methodologies, A/B testing, and safe rollouts
  • Familiarity with large language models (LLMs), AI agent design, and/or prompt engineering (preferred)
  • Experience building chatbot interfaces or AI-native products (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, HCI, or related field (bonus)
  • Experience working in a startup or fast-paced setting (bonus)
