Role Overview: You will be managing a designated four-person team of Consultants (across both health and risk) in achieving best outcomes for customers by overseeing the advice, broking and consultancy given on their personal portfolio of customers as part of overall renewal projects, ensuring these are delivered on time and with accuracy. The successful candidate will also be expected to maintain their own portfolio of Health or Risk customers.
Responsibilities: Give advice on, broker and maintain an existing portfolio of Group Health or Group Risk policies and benefits for Benifex customers
Manage multiple customer projects and work assignments in line with wider Benifex customer projects and keep to any associated deadlines
Deliver personal new business and new recurring revenue targets through extended services whilst contributing to the overall targets of Corporate Benefits
Identify and apply customer demands, needs and aspirations against alternative services and products available within Benifex by working with the Customer Success Team, Wellbeing, and other teams
Work on complex RFPs, procurement and onboarding projects, interpreting gap analysis of benefits, and sympathetically addressing any existing benefit design issues for customers and prospects
Manage a designated team of Consultants in achieving best outcomes for customers by overseeing the advice, broking and consultancy given on their personal portfolio of customers as part of overall renewal projects, ensuring these are delivered on time and with accuracy
Peer review reports and other advice delivery means, to ensure customers are receiving accurate advice within the regulatory framework and developing the team of Consultants to identify further needs for customers where appropriate, and identify areas to improve their overall consulting, technical and Benifex knowledge
Assist in managing complex customer requirements and provide support on customer allocations where required
Manage a team of Consultants to achieve overall growth within our Corporate Benefits department as well as helping them to achieve their personal financial targets and wider team targets
Assist, train, observe and mentor the team of Consultants to develop their sales techniques to benefit the growth of the Corporate Benefits department
Requirements
- Development: Ability to identify skill shortages and develop staff accordingly.
Broking knowledge: Must have strong Healthcare/Risk experience and excellent technical knowledge.
People Skills: Must be able to mentor and encourage staff to deliver under a hire pressure environment
